American Public Media Group, founded in 1987, is the largest station-based public radio organisation in the United States. As a tax-exempt, nonprofit parent support organisation, it provides administrative, financial, and human resources services to its supported nonprofit entities operating in public media. The group is headquartered in St. Paul, Minnesota, with an additional presence in Southern California.

American Public Media is its production and distribution arm, producing and distributing award-winning public radio programming and podcasts heard on approximately 1,000 public radio stations nationwide. Marketplace, its flagship daily public radio programme, focuses on economic news. The group also operates Public Radio Market under licence.
