We're the largest animal welfare organization in Minnesota, helping more than 100,000 animals each year through direct care and services. Our five adoption centers across the Twin Cities metro area take in every animal surrendered to us, providing them with medical care, behavior support, and the chance to find loving homes. We've been part of this community for over 140 years, evolving from several organizations that came together to form today's Animal Humane Society.
Beyond adoption, we operate public-facing veterinary clinics in Golden Valley and St. Paul that offer high-quality, affordable care with sliding scale fees based on income. Our team includes veterinarians, veterinary technicians, adoption counselors, educators, and hundreds of volunteers who work together to create a more humane world for animals. We also provide community resources like pet food assistance, behavior training, and youth programs to help keep pets and families together.
