For over a century, we have operated and maintained a complex electricity network spanning 22,275 square kilometres, with more than 100 years of history powering our communities.
Today, Ausgrid is transforming beyond traditional electricity distribution to become a comprehensive energy solutions provider. We're investing in renewable energy infrastructure, including community batteries and one of Australia's largest electric vehicle charging networks, with plans to deploy 900 electric vehicles by 2029. Our Hunter-Central Coast Renewable Energy Zone will enable the transfer of 1 gigawatt of renewable energy by 2028, representing the most significant enhancement to our network in over 25 years.
