In 2017, Victoria Repa was just 24 when she recognized a troubling gap in the wellness industry: fitness solutions were often exclusive, expensive, and focused on unrealistic body ideals rather than genuine well-being. She saw people of all ages, abilities, and backgrounds struggling to find health resources that actually worked for their lives. So she founded BetterMe with a simple yet radical mission - to make healthy living accessible to everyone, regardless of their circumstances.
What started as a health coaching app has evolved into a global wellness ecosystem serving 500 million users across 190 countries. BetterMe now encompasses personalized fitness programs, mental health support, athleisure wearables, and corporate wellness solutions. The company has grown from a team of three to over 200 employees, all united by core values of diversity, simplicity, and accessibility. When war came to their home country of Ukraine, BetterMe stepped up by making their apps free for all Ukrainians and creating specialized programs for rehabilitation and stress management. Today, BetterMe continues to expand its reach while staying true to its founding vision: creating happiness within through accessible, fun, and inclusive wellness solutions.
