Bounti builds an AI-native platform for the physical economy. It is aimed at multi-location frontline teams - restaurants, hotels and retail chains - and is designed to keep execution consistent across sites by bringing AI-powered search, training, checklists, communication and audits into a single system. In practice it replaces scattered PDFs, WhatsApp groups and outdated manuals. The company was founded in Berlin.
The technical work spans AI-powered search, AI and automation, training systems, and checklist and audit automation, alongside operational quality-management software. A second strand of the product automates core management tasks: identifying operational issues, triggering targeted training and generating quality-improvement tasks, so that each shift runs to the same standard. Backers include Ventech, IBB Ventures and the founders of Framer and Indeed.
Bounti says adoption on the frontline determines whether the software succeeds, and accordingly prioritises usability and clarity over dashboards. Stated cultural principles include radical transparency, communication at eye level and real ownership. Engineers ship to customers in their first week, and everyone is expected to take initiative and learn fast.
