CircuitHub is building an automated electronics factory using a modern technology stack to address rapid manufacturing for hardware companies. Founded in 2011, the company operates from South Deerfield, Massachusetts, serving customers across the United States and Europe. Its technical work spans factory-scale robotics, supply chain optimization, and automated electronics manufacturing.
The company offers a platform called The Grid, which allows manufacturers to upload PCB design files and receive ready-to-order quotes for turnkey assembly in minutes. It also develops the PartRank algorithm, a proprietary technology for supply chain optimization. CircuitHub reports that 81% of full turnkey orders are shipped within three days, and the platform has been used by over 20,000 engineers to deliver more than 1.57 million boards.
CircuitHub's customers include companies in automotive (self-driving cars), aerospace (satellites), 3D printing, and robotics. The company is funded by investors including Y Combinator, Google Ventures, and Plural.
