CUST-O-FAB designs, fabricates, repairs and services heat-transfer equipment for critical industrial and digital infrastructure. The company's engineering work spans thermal design, shell-and-tube and air-cooled heat exchanger design, ASME Code fabrication of pressure vessels, and specialty welding. Its fabrication output includes air-cooled and shell-and-tube heat exchangers, pressure vessels, towers and columns, scrubbers, reactors, structural steel and modular systems, along with replacement equipment for existing installations.
Beyond new build, the firm handles retubing, bundle extraction, field service and repair, and lifecycle support, positioning itself as a single accountable partner from thermal design through fabrication, installation, turnaround, emergency response, upgrades and replacement. This integrated model covers the full equipment lifecycle rather than individual stages of it.
Founded in 1972 in Sand Springs, Oklahoma, as a five-person fabrication shop, the company has operated for more than 50 years and now runs fabrication facilities and field-service operations across Oklahoma, Texas and Louisiana. It serves customers in refining, petrochemical, midstream oil and gas, LNG, power generation, data centres, chemical production, renewable energy, industrial gas, mining, pulp and paper, and space exploration.
