Darigold is the marketing and processing subsidiary of the Northwest Dairy Association, a cooperative owned by nearly 300 family-owned farms. Founded in 1918, the company produces a range of dairy products and ingredients - including milk, butter, cheese, cottage cheese, sour cream, and coffee creamers - for wholesale, retail, foodservice, and food manufacturing sectors. Its B2B ingredient portfolio includes skim milk powder, nonfat dry milk, whey powder, and buttermilk powder.
Headquartered in Seattle, Washington, Darigold operates processing facilities across Washington, Oregon, Idaho, and Montana. It is the fifth-largest dairy cooperative in the United States, handling over 8.5 billion pounds of milk annually. The company exports to more than a dozen countries and accounts for nearly half of U.S. dairy exports by volume.
