Ergo is Ireland's largest privately-owned IT services provider, headquartered in Dublin with additional offices in Cork, Limerick and Belfast, and operations in the United States, New Zealand, Colombia and Romania. The company delivers managed services, cloud infrastructure, digital solutions, cybersecurity and software license management to organisations undertaking digital transformation, with clients across financial services, the public sector, life sciences and pharmaceuticals.
Technical work spans several domains: managed IT services, cloud infrastructure engineering, digital solution delivery, cybersecurity and license management. Cloud practice is recognised as Microsoft Ireland Azure Partner of the Year, and the company has been named Microsoft Country Partner of the Year five times in the past decade. License management is delivered in part through the subsidiary Micromail; a second subsidiary, BoatyardX, also operates alongside the Ergo brand.
Founded in 1993 by John Purdy, a former EY Industry Entrepreneur of the Year award winner, and Tim Sheehy, Ergo began as a two-man operation specialising in print components before growing into a national IT services provider. Its customer portfolio exceeds 2,275 organisations. In 2024 the company joined Presidio while continuing to operate under the Ergo brand.
