George Weston Foods (GWF) is one of Australia and New Zealand's largest food manufacturers, employing more than 7,000 people across 40 sites. The company operates a portfolio of businesses spanning baked goods, meat products, bakery ingredients, animal nutrition, dips and dressings, artisan bread, and cleaning and hygiene solutions - a broad operational footprint that covers large-scale production, baking and meat processing at industrial scale.
The group's brands include Tip Top Bakeries and DON, both long-standing household names, alongside Mauri (bakery ingredients), Jasol (cleaning and hygiene solutions), Yumi's (dips and dressings), and the artisan bread businesses Noisette and Brasserie Bread. The operating model combines established brands with specialised market businesses, giving the group reach across both consumer and industrial food segments in Australia and New Zealand.
GWF grew out of the consolidation of established Australian food businesses, including the former F H Faulding operation acquired by Associated British Foods in 1986. The company states a vision of providing the best home for a growing family of safe, well-led businesses, with a stated focus on safety and good leadership across its operations.
