In January 2006, our founders at Deutsche Telekom recognized an opportunity to establish a world-class IT competence center in Eastern Europe, leading to the creation of T-Systems Slovakia in the Košice region. The vision was clear: build a center of excellence that could deliver high-quality ICT services to the Deutsche Telekom group while tapping into Slovakia's emerging talent pool. From those early days, we evolved rapidly, becoming founding members of the Košice IT Valley association and growing from a startup to the region's second-largest employer with over 3,900 professionals.
