The firm is the nation's fifth largest pest prevention company and the largest privately held, family-owned one in the industry. Technical work at the company spans environmentally responsible pest management and pesticide reduction techniques, mosquito and termite control methods, landscape management, and irrigation systems designed to help preserve water resources. The stated approach is to reduce dependence on pesticides through service techniques that the company describes as innovative. Its environmental work has been recognised by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the Council for Sustainable Florida. Massey Services operates more than 190 service centres and employs more than 2,800 team members; it reports having nearly doubled in size every five years. No external funding rounds have been disclosed.
