We're a team of blockchain veterans and builders who've been working in the web3 space since the early days of Ethereum. Founded in 2015 by Ethereum co-founder Joseph Lubin, we operate as an accelerator, incubator, and investor supporting the decentralized web ecosystem. Our work focuses on investing in and helping build foundational infrastructure for Web3 - spanning DAOs, NFTs, DeFi protocols, and the emerging metaverse.
Through our accelerator program Tachyon, launched in 2017, we've guided 90+ projects from early-stage ideas to fully funded companies. We take pride in having incubated some of the most impactful projects in the space, including MetaMask, Gitcoin, Decrypt, and Gnosis. Our Applied R&D teams contribute directly to advancing web3 protocols, with focuses on zero-knowledge cryptography, gaming, identity solutions, and state channels. We support a network of over 5,000 founders and builders, and we continue to invest at the frontier of what's possible with decentralized technology.
