• $100–$200 per hour
• 100% remote
• Part-time, under 20 hours a week
Apply your physics judgment to help evaluate and improve scientific AI systems on a flexible schedule. The teams building these systems need physicists who can work through advanced problems, write rigorous derivations with clear assumptions and intermediate steps, check whether reasoning is correct and reproducible, and explain ambiguities precisely.
What you will do:
• Write step-by-step solutions to advanced physics problems, with clear derivations in LaTeX
• State assumptions, approximations, special cases and boundary conditions
• Run symbolic and numerical checks in Python, SymPy and Jupyter, including dimensional checks
• Resolve unclear problem statements and apply reviewer feedback
Who this is for:
• Physics PhD, advanced PhD candidate or postdoctoral research experience preferred
• Strong analytical ability and clear technical writing in English
• Working knowledge of Python, SymPy, Jupyter and LaTeX
• No prior AI experience required
Details:
• $100–$200 per hour as an independent contractor
• Fully remote, flexible schedule in the United States
• Project period of about 8 to 10 weeks
