Reap is a fintech company headquartered in Hong Kong that builds stablecoin-native infrastructure for global businesses, combining traditional finance with stablecoins to speed up cross-border money movement. Founded in 2018 by the team behind the world's first crypto credit-card issuer, the company employs more than 200 people and operates across eight markets. It raised $40m in Series A funding and is part of Payward following an acquisition intended to expand its globally regulated B2B offering.
The engineering work spans stablecoin infrastructure, cross-border payments, card issuing technology, fintech APIs, embedded finance, fraud and risk management, and KYC/KYB workflows, as well as the bridging of blockchain and traditional finance. Reap's unified financial platform supports business accounts, corporate Visa cards, expense management, bill pay, payments, collections, stablecoin on-ramps and off-ramps, rewards and embedded financial products. Reap APIs let businesses and fintech platforms issue corporate cards and build branded payment experiences.
The company serves a distributed team across eight markets, with emerging markets among its areas of focus. Clients and platforms using its infrastructure include KAST, RedotPay, Tevau, Elephants, Keytom and Cashi. Reap is led by co-founder and CEO Daren Guo.
