In 2012, our founders Oleg Krook and Igor Faybyshev noticed a persistent gap in how startups were building technology. Development shops could execute technical tasks, but they lacked the methodology and product mindset to deliver solutions that actually addressed business goals. They saw a disconnect between business owners and product development teams due to a lack of open communication and shared ownership. So they founded Remedy Product Studio in New York City to be different - a true partner that would be measured by business outcomes, not feature output.
What started over good sushi and mediocre coffee has grown into a global product studio with over 120 teammates across four continents. We partner with Seed to Series C companies, working as an extension of their internal teams for 3+ years on average. Our model combines hands-on product development with strategic investment through equity-for-service arrangements. We don't just build - we collaborate on strategy, execution, and launch, helping our partners raise over $1B from firms like Greycroft, Serena Ventures, and General Catalyst. From ClassPass becoming our first unicorn to three successful exits in 2021, we've proven that when engineers are embedded partners who challenge roadmap decisions and debate tradeoffs alongside your team, better products get built.
