Sazabi is an AI-native observability company building what it describes as a safety harness for teams shipping software with AI. Its platform connects production logs with code to detect anomalies, investigate root causes and hand actionable context back to engineers and their coding agents. Where conventional observability relies on manually maintained monitors and dashboards, Sazabi is organised around logs, automated detection and contextual answers. It supports autonomous alerts, conversational debugging, live dashboards and multilingual log search.
The company was founded by Sherwood Callaway, who previously built infrastructure and observability systems for fast-growing technology companies. It operates by three guiding principles: less information but more signal; logs as the primary source of observability; and AI-driven alerts replacing brittle traditional monitors. The stated aim is to cut the manual toil involved in building dashboards and monitors by hand.
Sazabi raised an $8 million seed round and released Sazabi 1.0, a launch that introduced self-service onboarding. Before general availability the product was run as a beta with three design partners: Weave, Mastra and Sandstone. Technical work spans observability, AI-native anomaly detection, log analysis and search, root-cause analysis, production monitoring and agent-driven debugging workflows, in service of software development and AI-assisted engineering teams.
