Slice Global builds software that lets companies grant equity to employees in countries other than their own without falling foul of local rules. Its platform combines cap table management, equity grant workflows, share registry functions and stock-based compensation reporting with real-time compliance monitoring and tax optimisation, and it operates across more than 60 countries. The system is described as AI-native, with AI agents, real-time decision engines and document automation underlying much of its workflow logic.
The company was founded in 2022 and is headquartered in New York City, with an office in Tel Aviv. It raised $32 million in a Series A round led by Insight Partners, with participation from TLV Partners, R-Squared Ventures and Jibe Ventures. Customers named on its website include Wiz, Cyera, Aidoc, Augury and Guesty.
For engineers, the interesting parts of the problem are unusually well defined: regulatory and tax rules that differ by jurisdiction and change over time, grant and cap table workflows that must reconcile cleanly against a share registry, and compliance monitoring that has to be both timely and auditable. The technical stack spans artificial intelligence, AI agents, real-time decision engines, document automation and workflow automation, applied to fintech and legaltech use cases. The product is aimed at finance, legal and HR teams, so the domain sits at the intersection of software engineering, financial operations and cross-border regulation.
