SweetTech, formerly LandJourney, builds native AI infrastructure for commercial lenders. Its cloud-native software is designed to help banks double loan-production efficiency. Engineering is distributed across two locations: Boulder, Colorado, which also serves as headquarters, and Montreal.
The company's technical work spans AI/ML, cloud-native software, automation, document automation, digital portals and regulatory reporting automation. Two products sit on the platform: SweetAg, an all-in-one AI-powered system for agricultural lenders that includes AI-powered origination, automated document collection, white-labelled digital servicing portals and capital-markets tooling; and SweetTech, the same cloud-native AI lending platform adapted for commercial lending more broadly. Both are aimed at doubling loan-production efficiency for the banks that use them.
Within a year of launch, the company signed one of the largest independent agricultural lenders and the largest cooperative client in the nation. It raised $7.4m in 2026. The industry verticals it serves are agricultural lending, commercial lending and banking.
SweetTech states its values as strong work ethic, grit, humbleness and humour, alongside a genuine interest in the people its software is built for: farmers, business owners and lenders. The company describes its approach to lending technology as relationship-driven.
