Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated IT Support Specialist to provide reliable technical assistance to business clients. The ideal candidate enjoys troubleshooting technology issues, communicating with customers, and working with a variety of IT environments.
Key Responsibilities
Provide remote and onsite technical support.
Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and connectivity problems.
Support Windows, Microsoft 365, cloud applications, and user accounts.
Monitor client systems and proactively identify potential issues.
Assist with cybersecurity and endpoint protection.
Support backup and disaster recovery solutions.
Configure computers, software, networking equipment, and peripherals.
Manage and resolve help desk tickets.
Document technical issues, solutions, and system configurations.
Escalate complex issues to senior technical staff.
Participate in infrastructure upgrades and technology projects.
Maintain excellent communication and customer service.
Required Qualifications
Experience in IT support, help desk, or a related technical position.
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
Knowledge of Windows and Microsoft 365.
Understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and Wi-Fi.
Excellent written and verbal communication.
Strong customer-service skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Willingness to learn new technologies and processes.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working for a Managed Service Provider (MSP).
CompTIA A+, Network+, or Security+ certification.
Microsoft Azure or other cloud experience.
Knowledge of cybersecurity and endpoint security.
Experience with backup and disaster recovery platforms.
Familiarity with network equipment and firewalls.
