Terros Health is an Arizona nonprofit healthcare organisation founded in 1969. It operates a connected, whole-person care model that combines physical health, mental health, substance use treatment and social determinants of well-being within a single delivery system. Services are delivered across community health centres in Arizona, which act as a medical home for patients, and the organisation has served the state for more than 55 years.
Its service portfolio spans primary care and integrated health services, outpatient counselling and psychiatry, medication-assisted treatment for substance use disorders, residential recovery programmes, mobile crisis response, housing services, family services, and support for individuals involved in the justice system and re-entering the community. The organisation also deploys peer support staff, and it encourages people with lived experience of behavioural health conditions to pursue careers in the field. Care is offered regardless of a patient's ability to pay.
Terros Health describes its mission as providing care by empowered people through exceptional outcomes, and reports a culture built on integrity, compassion and empowerment. The organisation promotes from within and invests in staff through training and professional development, working in teams that collaborate with clinical colleagues and community partners.
