The Factory is a Dutch cloud engineering and digital transformation company founded in 2019, based in Rijswijk. It helps enterprises design, build, and manage cloud-native solutions across AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform. The company works with clients including Leiden University, Royal Schiphol Group, Nike, ASML, and Ahold Delhaize across sectors ranging from higher education and semiconductors to retail and aviation.
The firm's technical practice spans cloud migration, DevOps automation, managed container platforms, and infrastructure automation. It implements cloud landing zones for enterprises, builds scalable cloud applications, and provides cloud strategy and advisory services that extend from initial planning through execution. The Factory holds certified partnerships with AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Datadog.
The company has positioned itself around three core themes: collaboration across teams, technical craftsmanship, and continuous knowledge sharing. Its staff comprises certified architects and engineers who work across multiple client engagements, functioning as trusted advisors rather than transactional service providers. More recently, The Factory has expanded into AI strategy and implementation services.
