UbiOps is a Dutch software scale-up that builds tooling for running AI workloads on whatever infrastructure an organisation happens to own. Its platform deploys data science models as operational software applications across on-premise hardware, public clouds and hybrid setups, with API management, version control, scaling algorithms, monitoring, auditing, resource prioritisation, security and access management built in. The technical remit covers MLOps, model operations and multi-cloud infrastructure, and increasingly private AI infrastructure for organisations that cannot send data to public providers.
The company targets a well-documented bottleneck: industry estimates suggest more than 80% of data science models never reach production. UbiOps positions itself on the handover between development and deployment, and its customer base reflects the resulting demand for control and security. Named clients include Bayer, BAM and the National Cyber Security Center, spanning agriculture, construction and government, with a stated focus on enterprises and critical organisations.
UbiOps was founded in December 2016 as Dutch Analytics by three co-founders - Yannick Maltha (CEO), Victor Pereboom (CTO) and Jorick Naber (COO) - and renamed its platform UbiOps in 2020, a portmanteau of "ubiquitous" and "software operations". The company runs from three offices, in The Hague, Amsterdam and Fort Worth, Texas. It operates with a scale-up culture and a stated mission of closing the gap between data science development and production deployment.
