Requirements
Position Summary:
We are hiring a Frontend / Full Stack Engineer to build high-quality web applications across multiple areas of Wand.
This role focuses primarily on frontend development using modern JavaScript frameworks, while also contributing to backend services where required. You will design and implement intuitive, performant user interfaces while ensuring seamless integration with backend systems and APIs.
The role requires strong expertise in modern frontend development, particularly React and JavaScript, combined with an understanding of full stack engineering practices. You will work closely with product, design, and backend engineering teams to deliver responsive and scalable web applications.
Role Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain modern web applications using React and JavaScript.
- Build responsive, accessible, and high-performance user interfaces.
- Collaborate closely with product managers and designers to translate requirements into intuitive user experiences.
- Develop reusable frontend components and maintain consistent design patterns across applications.
- Integrate frontend applications with backend services and APIs.
- Contribute to backend development where appropriate, supporting full stack application delivery.
- Ensure frontend code quality through testing, code reviews, and best engineering practices.
- Optimise application performance and improve page load times and responsiveness.
- Work with backend engineers to design efficient API interactions and data flows.
- Contribute to frontend architecture decisions and technology evolution.
- Improve observability and debugging capabilities for frontend applications.
- Participate in CI/CD processes to ensure safe and reliable deployments.
- Troubleshoot production issues and support continuous improvement of web applications.
- Maintain clear documentation for frontend components and application architecture.
- Collaborate with engineers across teams to deliver integrated product features.
Key Requirements:
- Strong experience building modern web applications.
- Extensive experience with React and JavaScript.
- Strong understanding of modern frontend architecture and component-based development.
- Experience working with RESTful APIs and integrating frontend applications with backend services.
- Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and modern frontend development frameworks.
- Experience building responsive and cross-browser compatible web applications.
- Experience with frontend state management patterns and libraries.
- Experience working with modern build tools and frontend development workflows.
- Familiarity with full stack development practices and backend systems.
- Experience contributing to CI/CD pipelines and modern software delivery practices.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with designers, product managers, and backend engineers.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

- Experience in large-scale global B2B/B2C products
- Experience building highly interactive and data-driven user interfaces.
