Zerofy is a cloud-based home energy management platform for the electrified home. Founded in 2022 by Till Quack and Criss Uudam, the company connects solar panels, batteries, electric vehicles, EV chargers, heat pumps and smart devices into a single system that optimises energy use and reduces household emissions. The underlying technical work spans cloud computing, IoT device integration, forecasting, optimisation algorithms, artificial intelligence and data analytics.
The product line has three components. The Zerofy App, a consumer application, continuously measures household emissions and energy costs and recommends personalised ways to reduce them. Mission Control gives consumers and business customers unified visibility and automated control of connected energy devices. A white-label platform is offered to energy providers, installers and OEMs, who use it to connect solar systems, batteries, EVs, chargers, heat pumps, smart meters and other devices under their own brand.
The white-label platform supports more than 80 device brands and 1,000 devices without requiring additional household hardware. Target sectors include residential energy, solar, energy storage, EV charging, heat pumps, utilities and providers, OEMs and the installer and contractor sector. The company's stated aim is to simplify the path toward a lower-carbon lifestyle and to make complex energy information understandable and actionable; its initial beta covered emissions from energy use, transport and household spending.
