Balance builds financial infrastructure for B2B commerce, with a technical stack spanning AI-powered payments, embedded checkout and digital trade credit. The company's flagship product is an online checkout purpose-built for business buyers, designed to handle every payment method such buyers expect and to cut processing costs by up to 87%. Around it sit embedded payment processing, scalable digital trade credit that lets sellers offer net terms without carrying accounts receivable overhead, and B2B Buy Now Pay Later.
Operating across seven countries, Balance processes billions of dollars in transactions and employs more than 70 people. The company targets a B2B market it sizes at more than $25 trillion, of which only about 10% currently moves online. Clients include Alibaba, Instacart, Office Depot, Sony and CDW.
Balance was founded by Bar Geron and Yoni Shuster, both formerly of PayPal, and is backed by investors including Salesforce Ventures and Lightspeed. It was named among CNBC's World's Top Fintech Companies for 2025. The stated aim is to bring the kind of seamless payment experience familiar from consumer commerce to business transactions.
