CDDS (Counter Defense Drone Systems) is a Swiss defence technology startup founded in 2025, headquartered in Schlieren, Zurich. The company develops autonomous, AI-driven kinetic interceptor drones designed to protect people and critical infrastructure from hostile unmanned aerial systems.
The company's core product, the CDDS Interceptor, is a compact, high-speed autonomous drone capable of detecting, tracking, and physically neutralising Group 1 and Group 2 UAS threats at speeds up to 210 km/h. Each interceptor operates independently, using onboard AI and real-time decision-making to predict threat flight paths, compensate for wind conditions, and adjust trajectories to intercept moving targets as small as 20–30 cm. The system includes a launch station that stores, charges, and deploys up to 20 interceptors.
CDDS works across technical domains including autonomous systems, AI-driven kinetic interception, computer vision, machine learning, and real-time decision-making. The company operates at the intersection of defence, critical infrastructure protection, and counter-UAS technology.
