DefSecIntel is an international defence-technology company founded in 2018 and headquartered in Tallinn, Estonia, with operations in Ukraine and Germany. It develops open, AI-assisted command-and-control architecture and multi-layer counter-UAS systems that integrate sensors, decision-making software, effectors and existing military systems, in order to help European defenders detect and respond to aerial threats. Its customers include armed forces, border authorities, homeland-security agencies and operators of critical infrastructure across the European Union and NATO's Eastern Flank.
The company's product portfolio spans several layers of the counter-UAS problem. EIRSHIELD is a multi-layer system combining radar, radio-frequency, electro-optical, infrared and acoustic sensors with AI-powered command and control and both soft-kill and hard-kill effectors. EIRSHIELD C2 is the middleware that lets sensors, decision-making software, effectors and legacy military systems work together. Other platforms include DroneHive, an interceptor platform for engaging hostile drones; CAIMAN, a mobile intelligence, sensor and targeting system; and EUROMITE, an unmanned surface vessel.
Engineering work spans sensor fusion, radar, RF, electro-optical, infrared and acoustic sensing, effector integration, and interoperability with allied standards such as SAPIENT and ASTERIX. Development is grounded in operational experience from Ukraine and shaped by requirements drawn from defence and security end users, with an emphasis on open architecture rather than closed, vendor-specific stacks.
