Equiplano develops software for public administration. Based in Paraná, Brazil, and in operation for more than 50 years, the company builds management systems for municipal city halls and other public entities, covering the full administrative and financial area of governments of any size. Its ecosystem is used under more than 1,800 signed licences with city halls and public entities, serving 150 municipalities in the State of Paraná and more than 300 clients in total.
The product set spans a range of public-sector domains: ERP and management systems, financial and administrative software, taxation, human resources, e-procurement, digital process management and inventory/warehouse management. These are delivered as specialised modules within a single ecosystem, among them Contabilidade (accounting), Tributação (taxation), Recursos Humanos (HR), Licitação e Compras (bidding and purchasing), Processos Digitais (digital processes) and Gestão de Almoxarifado (warehouse management).
In November 2022 Equiplano was acquired by Volaris Group and continues to operate as an independent business unit. The company states that its purpose is to simplify public management, combining accumulated experience with market practices. Its presence is concentrated in Paraná and Brazil more broadly.
