Today, Meteomatics stands apart through its unique technological approach. The company developed and manufactures its own Meteodrones - autonomous weather drones that fly up to 6 kilometers above ground level to collect crucial atmospheric data from the planetary boundary layer. This proprietary data collection capability, combined with high-resolution weather models like EURO1k and US1k (both offering 1-kilometer resolution), and a comprehensive Weather API providing access to over 1,800 weather parameters, enables businesses across energy, aviation, agriculture, insurance, automotive, and government sectors to make better decisions, optimize operations, and reduce weather-related risks.
