We are looking for an experienced, organized, and motivated Pool & Outdoor Living Project Manager to join our growing team. About the Role
As our Project Manager, you will oversee residential pool construction and outdoor living projects from pre-construction through final walkthrough. You will coordinate crews, manage schedules and budgets, communicate with homeowners, and ensure projects meet our standards for quality, safety, and workmanship.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who understands construction sequencing, anticipates potential problems, and takes ownership of getting projects completed successfully.
Required: At least 2 years of project management experience in pool construction or hardscaping. Candidates without relevant industry experience will not be considered.
Key Responsibilities
Manage multiple pool construction and outdoor living projects simultaneously.
Coordinate subcontractors, including excavation, steel, plumbing, electrical, shotcrete or gunite, tile, decking, and plaster crews.
Develop, maintain, and monitor project schedules and budgets.
Communicate regularly with homeowners to provide updates and manage expectations.
Review construction plans, specifications, and site drawings.
Conduct regular jobsite inspections and quality-control checks.
Identify potential construction issues early and implement practical solutions.
Coordinate required inspections and help ensure compliance with applicable building codes.
Track project progress, materials, labor, and subcontractor performance.
Manage punch lists and oversee final project walkthroughs.
Maintain safe, organized jobsites and uphold Oasis Outdoor TN's quality standards.
Qualifications and Requirements
Minimum 2 years of project management experience in pool construction or hardscaping.
Strong understanding of residential construction methods and project sequencing.
Experience coordinating subcontractors and managing construction schedules.
Ability to read and interpret construction plans, specifications, and drawings.
Strong organizational, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize competing deadlines.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with luxury residential pools and outdoor living projects.
Knowledge of gunite or shotcrete pool construction.
Familiarity with Tennessee pool codes, permitting, and inspection procedures.
Experience using construction management software.
Background in budgeting, estimating, and project cost control.
