SARIA France is a bio-industry company that collects and transforms animal-origin and food-origin materials, converting them into new products rather than treating them as waste. The company operates across the circular economy: it processes animal by-products and organic resources from the food chain and turns them into pet food and livestock feed, agricultural fertilizers, and green energies including biodiesel. Its work serves sectors including agriculture, human food, pet food, animal feed, the pharmaceutical industry and renewable energy.
Part of the German family-owned Rethmann group, SARIA employs around 1,400 people in France, from its headquarters in Clichy (92110), out of some 13,000 worldwide. The group runs more than 200 operational sites in 26 countries. Technical work spans organic resource transformation, waste valorization, animal by-product processing, feed and fertilizer manufacturing, and bioenergy production.
The company describes its mission as giving resources a new life in different forms, creating value from materials that are otherwise discarded. Its industrial activities combine collection logistics with transformation processes, and it positions its work around sustainability and concrete solutions for a more durable future.
