OU Health

About

OU Health is Oklahoma's only comprehensive academic health system, serving all 77 counties across the state with clinical care, medical education, and research. The organisation operates more than 10,000 team members, including 1,300 physicians and 4,000 nurses, with major facilities in Oklahoma City, Edmond, Tulsa and beyond.

The system's clinical strengths are substantial. It houses Oklahoma's sole NCI-Designated Cancer Center (one of 73 nationally) through the Stephenson Cancer Center, operates a Level I trauma centre that has held that designation for 30 years, and runs the state's only comprehensive pediatric heart transplant programme. The Harold Hamm Diabetes Center represents another major area of specialisation.

As the flagship academic health system of The University of Oklahoma, OU Health integrates clinical practice with medical education and research activity. Its portfolio spans trauma care, paediatric care through Oklahoma Children's Hospital, cancer treatment, transplant services, diabetes management, and clinical research across multiple centres of excellence.
