Qualitate is an AI-native primary intelligence platform that automates primary research end to end for enterprises, investment firms and asset managers - from study design and expert recruitment through AI-moderated interviews and insight synthesis. Founded in 2024 and headquartered in New York, the company replaces weeks of manual research with what it describes as high-output signal in hours. It raised $7m in a seed round led by IA Ventures and Crew Capital.
The technical work centres on a small number of interlocking systems. An AI Moderator conducts expert conversations autonomously and at scale, interviewing thousands of experts simultaneously each month and capturing forward-looking purchasing plans, competitive displacement signals and real-time ROI data. Beneath it sits a proprietary data engine: a machine-learning model trained on more than 350,000 minutes of expert discussions, designed so that each new interview sharpens the next. The engineering domains involved span conversational AI, natural language processing, autonomous research agents and insight synthesis.
Qualitate owns the whole stack, including its own expert panel: tens of thousands of vetted experts across hundreds of technology markets. Customers include corporate strategy teams, hedge funds, private equity, credit and venture investors, and asset managers. The team grew from four people in April 2024 to multiple offices and is built by researchers, engineers and AI experts.
