About

X Shore is a Swedish technology company founded in 2016 that designs, builds, tests and sells all-electric powered boats for the leisure and professional maritime markets. The company carries out its design-build-test-sell operations in-house at a state-of-the-art factory and facility in Nyköping, Sweden; it was founded in Stockholm.

Its technical work spans electric drivetrains and electric marine propulsion, touchscreen controls, modular interior design, and zero-emission maritime technology. Product engineering is applied across three all-electric boat models: X Shore 1, Eelex 8000, and X Shore PRO, the latter aimed at professional maritime users. Each model combines an electric drivetrain with touchscreen controls and modular interior layouts, and the company performs its own boat manufacturing and testing.

Products are sold into the leisure marine and professional maritime markets. X Shore was named Fast Company's No. 1 Most Innovative Company in Social Good for 2025, recognition reflecting a mission to bring silent, zero-emission technology to the maritime industry.
