What started in 2008 as Sal Khan tutoring his cousin has grown into a platform with over 181 million registered learners across 190 countries. We offer thousands of interactive exercises, videos, and articles covering subjects from kindergarten through early college - math, science, grammar, history, AP, SAT, and more - all completely free.
Our team includes people from academia, traditional and non-traditional education, big tech companies, and tiny startups. We're particularly focused on serving learners in historically under-resourced communities and believe that transforming education starts in-house with learning about ourselves and our colleagues.
